AH3 Committee Meeting 1 27/1/96 - Joy Boys Pizza Palace

What follows is an almost accurate account of the meeting:

Hash Events Past and Present and Future

Anne Summers Night - a success, despite being banned by Anne Summers Inc because they thought we were going to have an orgy - and apparently that’s illegal (whatever will the government dream up next). Made £70 for Hash Funds. Rubber dolls are still missing - last seen in Lalombarda playing with some salami. Thanks to Hummingbird.

Xmas Dinner - voted a success despite the crap food and wine - who cares after one or two anyway. Thanks to Shaky. Karaoke went down well. Final cost to hash funds was only £34. The size of La Lombarda was discussed - given that we had about half a dozen folk who wanted to go but couldn't it would be worth looking for an alternative venue for next year. The Inn on the Park was discussed as a possible candidate.

Burns Supper 20/1 - 24 paid; at least 40 noted an interest. Rockit doing his bagpipe thing. Toasts by various folk - Joy Boy addressing the haggis, Hippo slagging the tarts, Elaine - tarts slag back. By the time you read this it will all be over so hope you enjoyed it. Thanks to Hummingbird and Penguin.

Nethybridge 8-10th March. £30 ASAP to Hummingbird. Theresa and Maggie to organise food. Volunteers required for cabaret (no enforced recreation) - will Santa's Slags make an unseasonable reappearance?? Aids and Shaky (must have been pissed) have volunteered to set the run - will arrange flour beforehand!!!

Joint run with Elgin 12:00 pm start at Huntly. Let the train take the strain but bring a carry out cos BR charge far too much for warm beer. Train departs Aberdeen at +/ 10.00. Leaves Huntly at 16:30 or 18:30 - or walk. See Little Shit if in any doubt

Rocky Horror 16th March Hash tickets sold out but you could still arrange your own. Seat no’s are on the hash sheet if you want to sit next to your hashing buddies. Thanks to Little Shit.

700th Run Weekend of 20th May. Will plan a low key event on a pay as you go basis. Saturday night bar/disco etc.- Hummingbird and Royal Flush to arrange for the FP club. Sunday Run (A->B ?). The Hash will provide buses and disco out of funds. Names to Drillbit for volunteers to Hare.

Interhash 96. About 20 AH3 hashers going. As ever we're totally disorganised and spread around various flights and hotels. Suggested that given the numbers we

Organise an 'AH3 on Tour' 'T'-Shirt. This to be done independently by those who are going if they so wish - so get drafting your designs.

750th/777th/1000th. Recommended that next year 750th or 777th (or both?) should be low key. Next mega bash 1000th - approx early March 2002. All subject to change depending on the incumbent committee and global warming.

Hash Cash Report

Hash funds currently stand at a whopping £638 after the deduction of £738 for the Nethybridge deposit. This also reflects an accrual of £150 which we owe the Station Hotel, but they apparently haven't asked for after the 666th.

A lot of talk about the state of the accounts and auditing. Joy Boy will audit the books prior to Sharnies departure.

Awards

Seven 100+ Run awards coming up (you know who you are) - Sharnie has it all in hand. Little Shit's 400th is also approaching - a lot of talk about what to get him. If we made a decision I’m not minuting it - otherwise he'll find out.

Erections

Much heated debate about the way the election was handled. Suggested that this year the GM is elected first to cut out some of the bullshit. No doubt this will change by then. The committee recognised the past efforts of Little Shit.
